Chinese Internet court to exploit the advantages of Blockchain in the protection of intellectual property of writers

Hangzhou is one of the cities with the biggest online writers in China, as reported by China.org.cn. There are 107 online writers working in a village in the Binjiang district of the city.

"Blockchain ensures that data can not be tampered with, thanks to its decentralized technology and distributed open ledger, so all fingerprints stored in the blockchain system – paternity, creation time, content and evidence of infringement – have legal effect" .

It is difficult for online writers to show that a piece was written by them. In general, other users take the articles and copy them to take advantage of them. However, there are some difficulties in proving that the article was written by a specific person.

The decision that was taken by the court is in line with the ruling of the Supreme Court of China since early September when they mentioned it blockchain it can be legally used to authenticate the evidence.
