Bundesliga for 1 cent a year: crazy offer from Amazon

[ad_1]

The offer to see the Bundesliga for 1 cent per year is made by Amazon. The agreement appears to date back to the previous collaboration between Amazon and Eurosport. Amazon had marketed Eurosport Player as part of the Amazon channels. Eurosport in turn had the rights to the Bundesliga. After just a year, Eurosport lost interest in games and handed them over to DAZN before they wanted to completely quit the game as part of the crown pandemic.

Now, after a long time, DAZN continues to broadcast the Bundesliga. But apparently Eurosport still has obligations towards Amazon: DAZN can still be received via the Amazon Channel as a Eurosport broadcaster. And now for only 1 cent – one year.

Alternative to DAZN – for only 1 cent

You can see all the games that DAZN can stream via Eurosport Player in the Amazon Channel. They are all matches of the 1st Bundesliga which will take place on Friday evening. There are also games on Sundays at 1.30pm and Mondays at 8.30pm if they take place.

Today (November 6th) you can watch Werder Bremen against 1. FC Köln live at 8.30pm. Even the Hertha BSC city derby against 1. FC Union Berlin on December 4th will be broadcast exclusively by DAZN.

To book the Amazon Channel, you must be an Amazon Prime user. You can then easily make a reservation by clicking on the Amazon website. The offer to book the Prime Channel for just 1 cent per year is valid until the end of the year, according to Amazon.

Even if you’re not an Amazon Prime user yet, the offer is significantly cheaper than a DAZN subscription. As an annual subscription, it costs 119.99 euros. Amazon Prime costs 69 euros per year with the many benefits that the Prime subscription also offers. So you pay only 69.01 euros. Alternatively, you can also pay 7.99 euros per month. The first 30 days are free. However, you cannot see the other content offered by DAZN with this subscription.
