Block Block Global Blockstream has partnered with a Swiss cryptological consulting firm to launch a blockchain-driven settlement network, according to a December 17 press release.

Inacta AG and Blockstream recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide integration services for Liquid – a sidechain solution launched by Blockstream in October. Liquid reported combines key public and authorized blockchain features, allowing the issuance and transfer of several cryptographic tokens.

As a release of inacta AG, the company will focus on "helping financial institutions to exploit the benefits of liquid blockchain". The Swiss company will provide support to customers wishing to issue their assets through Liquid.

In addition, inacta has integrated Liquid with its platform, Tokengate, which was initially developed to make the initial market of offers of coins (ICO) in Zug Valley compliant and transparent.

This week, Blockstream also announced that it has extended its crypto-satellite services. The company is broadcasting the BTC blockchain to all of Earth's major land masses, with the fifth newly added satellite covering the Asia-Pacific region.

The Swiss Zug Valley, dubbed the Crypto Valley to host more start-ups related to the industry, has recently been ranked as the fastest growing technology community in Europe.
