The fearless crew of Skeleton Crew Studio and the shipwrecked sailors of Devolver Digital announced today that the enchanting action-fantasy game Olija will raise the sails to begin the adventure in early 2021. The team used the additional development time from when it was unveiled at this year’s Devolver Direct to bring this daring adventure to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. These versions are in addition to those already known for PC and Switch.
Olija is a game about the search for Faraday, a castaway who is now trapped in the mysterious land of Terraphage. Armed with a legendary harpoon, he and other castaways try to leave this hostile country and return to their homeland.
Through adventurous explorations and stories, as well as cutting-edge combat, players will discover a strange world and its inhabitants, including Olija, an enigmatic woman to whom Faraday feels increasingly connected over time. Inspired by scary stories and cinematic adventure games, Olija is a story about overcoming all adversity.
