On Sunday evening (local time) the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) made an urgent appeal to the population. Jordan, who was only nine, had been swallowed for hours. Only in jeans and a T-shirt and no shoes, the boy was suspected somewhere in the hinterland north of Nashville (USA).

The missing relationship has been shared thousands of times. But despite the great response, there was still no sign of Jordan. Time passed more and more and with each passing hour the hope of finding the boy vanished.

But then, after more than 48 hours and two nights in the cold of November, an unexpected happy ending arrived: the search teams found little Giordano on the shore of a small stream under a self-built shelter. The TBI immediately announced the good news on Twitter: “Frozen and hungry, but otherwise in good spirits. Nice to see you, Jordan. “
The father bursts into tears at the press conference
The nine-year-old boy was found about 1.2 kilometers from his home Tuesday. At a later press conference, the local sheriff said of the time the boy had to endure alone in nature: “I probably wouldn’t have survived.” And regarding the fact that Jordan survived the Odyssey unscathed, he said: “This is certainly the exception and not the rule.”
It is still unclear why the autistic boy ran away from home so suddenly. Apparently, Jordan did not live with his birth parents, but with an adoptive family.
