Space X will take astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) for the first time on an official mission. The trip is in collaboration with NASA and after take-off was postponed due to bad weather, everything is ready for another historic moment.

I remember that Space X has already brought two astronauts to the International Space Station, however, this was a test trip. That is, the goal was to find out if Space X was capable of carrying out missions for NASA. After passing with distinction, the first official trip is scheduled for Monday at 0: 27h.

The NASA broadcast talks about the whole trip

If you’re as curious as I am about meeting the astronauts and their targets, you can watch some NASA live TV in the video above.

The astronaut launch will also be broadcast live on Monday at 0.27am. So here are some good reasons not to go to bed too early tomorrow.

The crew consists of Commander Michael Hopkins, pilot Victor Glover and mission specialist Shannon Walker, all from NASA, as well as Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency expert Soichi Noguchi.

Space X wants to increase the number of flights to the International Space Station

With Space X taking care of everything related to astronaut travel, NASA can worry about other tasks. Furthermore, the flight costs are significantly lower. Firstly for the use of Space X rockets (which can be reused) as well as for having been carried out on North American soil.
