Iran’s supreme leader described the presidential election in the US as “fraudulent”

Facing each other for more than 40 years, relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States deteriorated after Donald Trump’s decision to unilaterally exit the Iranian nuclear deal, and both countries became closer to fight militarily on two occasions since June of 2019.
