& # 39; Too many cars, not enough BTC & # 39; – Morgan Creek Founder sells Lambo for Bitcoin

Founder of the Morgan Creek Capital Management Digital Asset Management Fund Jason A. Williams has put his Lamborghini for Bitcoin up for sale.

Something & # 39; Never done & # 39; before

How the Bitcoin price (BTC) 00 continues to slip about 80% below its historical high of January 2018, Morgan Creek Capital Management founder Jason A. Williams has decided to sell his Lamborghini and buy Bitcoin with the money he gets .

This, of course, is contrary to the "when lambo" meme which involves the purchase of the exotic vehicle with exorbitant cryptocurrency profits.

"I'm going to do something that has never been done in the crypt," he wrote.

I will sell my Lamborghini and buy Bitcoin. BTC offers accepted.

Williams not only accepts BTC, but when asked if he can send the car to Chile, he replied:

"For the right amount of btc I will deliver by hand."

Are the tides changing?

Bitcoinist reported earlier in 2018 that Lamborghini managed to score seven consecutive years of positive sales growth. In 2017, the luxury car manufacturer sold a total of 3,815 cars. More than a few of these were purchased with cryptocurrencies.

The prolonged bear market in 2018, however, is not particularly favorable for such high-cost purchases.

Bitcoin has plummeted from a historical high of around $ 20,000 in January to its current price, marking a decrease of around 80%.

However, many industry experts believe that the world's leading cryptocurrency has hit the bottom or is close to the bottom.

If this is true, and Williams goes through the sale of his Lambo, it could turn out to be a great deal.

Some of his Twitter followers have suggested the same thing.

"Smart move, so you can buy more lambos later." – replies @ H3dgi.

Historically, Bitcoin has had other major price drops of the kind, but it has always managed to go up, reaching a new maximum each time.
