The Global Blockchain Economic Forum (GBEF) 2019 will be held at the Alpensia Resort in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province from 28 to 29 January 2019.
This event, co-hosted by the Kangwon Provincial Administration and the Korea Digital Money Research Institute (KDC), will focus on topics such as the marketing of blockchain technology, the revitalization of the economy, tourism and medical care through blockchain. The event is designed to form a public forum for the improvement of local businesses and to share and discuss information from a macro perspective.
Expected guests include Choi, Moon-Soon, the Governor of Gangwon Province, relevant government agencies such as Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon, President Moon Hee-sang of the National Assembly, Yu Young-min, Minister of Information and Communication Science and Technology, Yoon Seok-hun, Director of Financial Supervision Service, will attract the largest number of key influencers working on the blockchain in Korea, including about 200 CEOs, including Vice President Meng Yan of CSDN , an IT community and around 500 general participants.
The GBEF 2019, organized under the theme "Smart Real Economy, the future of the blockchain", will be divided into four sections. Experts from around the world will present presentations and discussions in each section, including "The fusion of blockchain and real economy", "Blockchain and Smart City", "Blockchain Technology to change lives" and "Fourth industrial revolution and institutional revolution".
