Citing his statement, "In 2018, almost 100 financial institutions joined RippleNet and now we are signing two, sometimes three new customers a week, and we have also seen a 350% increase in customers who send payments last year. live and we are starting to see more customers turning the tide and leveraging XRP for on-demand liquidity. "

He added, "At the end of the day, our goal is to make sure that our customers can offer excellent and efficient cross-border payment experiences for their customers wherever they are in the world."

Ripple has been compared to the longtime player in the payment system around the world, SWIFT for quite some time, and the CEO even claimed that his technology would overturn SWIFT as the main transfer method of cross-border money.

He, however, also said that Ripple is open to any partnership with SWIFT, which he believes is beneficial to both, as well as to the global banking system.
